Jesus and the children – 749 viewsIf you didn't read the album description, these religious murals were painted at least 25 years ago. So you can understand the simple nature of the paintings. I remember painting both of these scenes in this picture, but I couldn't tell you what was on the wall with the camel.
The funny thing about this picture is that apparently it was more important to get a view of our mess on the floor than the actual murals. The picture to the right is Jesus with the children. "Let the children come unto me."

Jesus the Fisher of Men – 586 viewsThis is my sister in this picture. She was teaching bible study at the time and asked my brother and I to paint some religious murals for her. My brother painted this picture of Jesus. Remember Jesus was a fisher of men! I love how he painted the folds and shadows in his garment. Unfortunately he doesn't paint any longer, but he really had some talent as a child. He's an incredibly creative person and has quite a personality too!

Jesus and his followers – 724 viewsHey you can actually see the whole picture! This one is Jesus praying with his followers. I painted this one. I don't think we had enough paint to paint the backgrounds. We just had those little tubes of acrylic paint.
