Faux Painting-Before and After

This shows a few of my Faux Painting Projects before and after. GIVE ME your TIRED, your POOR, your MASSIVE EMPTY WALLS.....and I'll make somethin' out of 'em! Faux Painting describes a technique of painting that imitates surfaces such as wood or stone. Faux is a french word meaning fake. The idea is to create a finish that appears to be the real thing except upon close examination

Religious Murals

These are pictures of some religious murals that my brother and I painted well over 25 years ago. This was our first attempt at mural painting. We did not have enough paint to paint the backgrounds. We really didn't know what kind of paint should be used. We simply purchased small tubes of acrylic artists paint. Whatever was available at that time.
