Easy Bookmarks For Kids
By Cecelia Nodell
Materials needed: *Used envelopes from greeting cards or any other type of envelope. You can make two bookmarks with one envelope.
*Scissors, crayons, markers, colored pencils or whatever else you like to use to color. With the scissor, cut off the bottom corners of the envelope. You will have two, triangular-shaped pieces. The open end of the triangle fits perfectly over the corner of a book page to be used as your book mark. Now it's time to make your new book mark fun to look at and use! With your crayons, markers and/or colored pencils, decorate your book mark. We always liked to make animal faces on our bookmarks so that when you open your book to the marked page, there is a cute face looking back at you! Use your imagination: draw rainbows; write your name; write 'to' and 'from' and give as a gift;
Have fun and enjoy your time together!
