Decorating A Luxury Room With A Tropical Theme For Your Child
By Jena Luthovski

When decorating a luxury room within a home, one doesn’t
associate it with a child's room. When decorating a luxury
child’s room with a tropic flare, one should decorate it with
palm trees, sand and mischievous monkeys. One way to begin this
change is to visit a craft store and compare the wall adhesives.
Many of the wall paper designs available in the market today are
like pictures that can easily stick to a wall. These stickers
are removable and hardly leave any residue.

If wall adhesives aren't your forte, you can opt make your wall
three dimensional. Then take acrylic paint and create healthy
looking palm trees which are easy to create for any child. The
next step is to search for green bedding or bedding with
photographs of various objects on it that will match with those
that you have chosen for the walls.

Usually, when shopping around, there will be many tropical
designed fabrics to choose from. If you do not want to custom
design your own sheets you can find a solid colored set that
will match with the comforter. You can opt to make the
comforter yourself or find a reputable seamstress who can
design it for you. If you have two sewn by a seamstress, one
with heavy fabric and one light weight, then you can ultimately
keep the tropical themed bedding throughout the course of the
year.

One idea that will complement your wall art decorations would
be to use the previously wall adhesives or have your very own
child create their pictures to hang on the walls itself. If you
use one of your walls as a mural and paint your remaining walls
with an attractive tropical color, your child's wall art will
look very astonishing. You can also opt to create a blackboard
wall with actual blackboard paint and your child can draw new
wall art daily.

A luxury room decorated with a tropical theme wouldn't be
complete without being able to watch the sunset or the stars.
To create this creative look for your child’s room you can
paint a scene on the ceiling of their room, or place star and
moon on the wall.

There are several periodicals on decorating your child’s room.
You can also visit a furniture store or visit a furniture store
on the internet. When designing your child’s room, it is
important that you keep in mind that eventually your child will
out grow his/her room. It is recommended that you stay with
neutral tones.

Allow your child to participate in your project; they will
enjoy seeing their room become one big dream. If your child is
short in stature, allow them help you place art at their
height, to an extent, paint the mural (there are several things
that they can help you with, such as, paint sand or the grass).
Take them with you to choose the fabrics and wall art and let
them help you decide where things go. Your child will feel a
sense of pride and accomplishment in his/her luxury room simply
because they helped you decorate their room.
